Every mama (or papa) responds to their child's fever, rash, or vomit differently. While I usually remain fairly unconcerned about these "common childhood ailments," the mamas who help me care for my kiddos view these symptoms in a radically different light.
What "sick" means to me is not what it means to many mamas around the world.
