Facelift

Time for a refurbish, revamp...a refresh?  Or, maybe just a classic facelift.

Sarah and I just pressed "order" on this site for our very own Mama Congo business cards. (Subtle doses of hot pink and letterpress may be involved).

And that long-overdue action got us rolling.

So we designed three new headers for the blog while our kids chased each other around with whisks in the back yard.  (Yes, this is true.)




Help us decide which one is best!  Leave a comment with your thoughts.

And as a bonus, here are our new "favicons."  (I just like writing that ridiculous word.)

    I think option #2 is your clearest choice. I really like #3; however, it's hard to read 'Congo.' As for the flavicons, I like the first--clear and concise.

    #1 - but my eye keeps going to the human made structure at the bottom left of the tree - which bugs me. Photoshop it out, or does it have some special meaning?

    To be honest, I like the one you have now! BUT, of those three, I like #3 for the headers and #2 for the favicons.

    #1... it's a little busy, but #2 is a weird green color that I don't associate with mamacongo. I like the 2nd favicon.

    I like option 1 and favicon 2. Joaquin, stellar 2013 digital media grad, also likes same ones I do. Jerry, the PRO, likes option 3 and favicon 2.

    Definitely #1 because it looks like I imagine your backyard in the Congo, and well, that's where a lot of the MamaCongo stories take place. Favicon #3 -- keep the pink arrow going! However I also agree that you already have a great header....
