Holy. There was obviously some gnashing of teeth prior to this shot. I swear I put her in a clean shirt and brushed her hair that morning! I even actually remembered it was school picture day. Lou was obviously not impressed by the lovely faux-school set up. I think she wrinkled the prop book.
The teachers, concerned that her parents would worry if this was the shot chosen to document the blissful days of Pré-Maternelle, decided they would try adding Charlotte to the photo - as a calming presence:
Yeah.
I swear she's a sweet child. Even fairly even-keeled. And she and Charlotte adore each other. See:
